Butler County drug task force serves warrants on 25 suspects

A drug task force in Butler County said this afternoon that it had begun serving 31 arrest warrants on 25 suspects accused of selling controlled substances.

The Butler County District Attorney's Drug Task Force said 15 of the arrests are related to heroin sales, two are related to Suboxone, a dissolving film used to treat opioid dependence, 11 for crack cocaine, one for MDMA, one for morphine pills and one for oxycodone.

Fifteen people had been arrested as of noon, the task force said in a news release.
