A lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court against the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette by a truck driver has been settled and closed, according to court filings.

Susan A. Gessler, of Zelienople, had alleged in the suit that because of her gender she was not hired for the position of depot driver, though she was the most qualified applicant.

A neutral evaluator looked at the case and it was subsequently settled, according to the documents. Terms were not available Thursday.
