Star party Sept. 14 at Frazer observatory

The September Star Party held by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh is set to begin 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer.

Weather permitting, there will be views of the planets Venus, Saturn and Neptune and the Moon two days after its first quarter.

Also in the visible sky will be the Hercules Cluster, the Ring Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. For information, call 724-224-2510.
