Cranberry police released photos this morning of several men they believe robbed a Seven Fields jewelry store Tuesday afternoon, making off with more than $250,000 in rings and watches.

Township police were called to Moses Jewelers on Northpointe Circle about 1:50 p.m. for a robbery report. Employees told police four or five men, at least one with a handgun, came into the store and ordered them to get down on the floor, Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said.

The men broke display cases and emptied jewelry into bags, the sergeant said. The men targeted specific cases, he said, and appeared to have had some knowledge of valuable items in the store.

"Obviously, it well-orchestrated," he said, adding the scheme was "almost rehearsed."

After about three minutes, the men left the store. They were seen in what may have been a white, four-door vehicle -- possibly a Nissan Maxmia -- leaving in an unknown direction. Officers arrived within a few minutes and searched the area, but found neither the men nor the vehicle.

Police are looking for four men, and possibly a fifth person who may have been driving the car.

Employees told police one man was black and had no covering on his face, and the others had bandannas over their faces.

Anyone with information is asked to call township police at 724-776-5180, ext. 5.

Moses Jewelers referred questions to Cranberry police.
