An Armstrong County man is in jail after firing at a state trooper Saturday night, according to a state police report.
A trooper responded to a 911 hang-up call on Fox Lane in Rayburn Township, Armstrong County, shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the report.
The report said the man's wife called 911 and fled the residence after a verbal dispute between the couple.
When the officer arrived at the trailer, the man, identified as Thomas Luketic, 58, fired a shot at the trooper. The 34-year-old trooper, who was not injured, left the area and requested backup. Police contacted Mr. Luketic by phone and ordered him to surrender. He complied, and police obtained a search warrant and found several long guns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia at the residence, according to the report.
Mr. Luketic was taken into custody and arraigned before District Justice Gary Decomo. He was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment and is being held on $100,000 bond in the Armstrong County Jail.mobilehome - breaking - neigh_north
