A hearing scheduled for today for Tiger Ranch animal sanctuary owner Linda Bruno was postponed until April 28 and 29, and moved from a West Deer district judge's office to the Allegheny County Courthouse.
Ms. Bruno is charged with 574 counts of animal cruelty.
Common Pleas Judge Joseph James yesterday approved moving the hearing because of space and safety considerations.
The 27-acre cat sanctuary that Ms. Bruno has operated for 14 years was raided March 13 by agents of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, who filed papers saying that sick and dying cats were kept in horrible conditions.
Approximately 400 cats were seized and moved to a Clarion County facility owned by PSPCA.
