Lane restrictions on tap for Monroeville Boulevard starting Tuesday night

Traffic restrictions along Monroeville Boulevard in Monroeville are scheduled to begin Tuesday night, according to the Allegheny County Public Works Department.

Roadway restrictions, affecting Monroeville Boulevard between Stroschein Road and Pitcairn Road, will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with a center turning lane between Stroschein Road and Pitcairn Road.

The $550,000 "Monroeville Boulevard at Corporate One Way Intersection Widening Project" is expected to be completed by mid-September, according to the Public Works Department.

The work is being done by A. Folino Construction of Oakmont.
