A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a McKeesport home invasion that injured three, two critically.

Police believe Jerrod Buford, no address available, and at least two others went into the house in the 1500 block of Scott Street early Sunday morning and attacked those inside.

Mr. Buford is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, recklessly endangering another person, conspiracy and gun violations. He was arrested Sunday evening outside of Toledo, Ohio, where he is awaiting extradition hearings, Allegheny County homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman said today.

McKeesport police went to the Scott Street home about 5:45 a.m. Sunday after 911 calls reported a shooting. There, they found a 34-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman and a third person with gunshot wounds.

The man and woman, who also were stabbed, were taken to local hospitals, where they are in critical condition, police said. The third person was treated and released.
