Family of slain woman seeks restitution

The family of a woman who was killed by her husband in February 2012 has submitted claims for restitution for estate and personal expenses, according to court documents.

John Peck, Westmoreland County district attorney, formally requested Thursday that David Stahl, who was recently convicted of murdering his wife, Rebecca, pay $78,108 and 23 cents to respective members of Mrs. Stahl‘‍s family for funeral and burial arrangements as well as expenses accrued during the trial, according to court documents.

Additionally, the commonwealth ordered that Mr. Stahl must pay $10,343 and 52 cents for forensic services by the state police.
