Man found along turnpike in Somerset died of gunshot wound to head

A man whose body was found this morning along the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset County died of a gunshot wound to the head, state police said.

Antwan Dash. 33, of Akron, Ohio was found around 7 a.m. near a drainage pond near mile post 108 eastbound in Somerset Township, state police in Somerset wrote in a press release. His car was parked there on the southern berm.

Manner of death is pending, state police said, adding "no further details will be released due to the sensitivity of the investigation."
