Police are searching for a Munhall man in connection with a North Huntingdon bank robbery.

North Huntingdon police Chief Andrew J. Lisiecki said Richard P. Thomas, 39, has been identified as a suspect in the robbery at the Circleville branch of First National Bank at 200 Clay Pike around 11:33 a.m. Saturday. Chief Lisiecki said the ID was made possible through help from media and citizen response.

Police said the suspect gave a demand note to a teller and then walked out. No information on cash taken from the bank was available.

Investigators believe Mr. Thomas’ car was involved in a crash this morning, but he has not been located.

Anyone with information can call police at 724-863-8800.
