Nadine Road in Penn Hills will remain closed indefinitely until a nearby hillside can be stabilized following a landslide there, a county spokeswoman said.

The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today closed the road between Allegheny River Boulevard and Lincoln Road, and a detour takes traffic along Allegheny River Boulevard to Sandy Creek Road to Verona Road to Lincoln Road, Amie Downs said.

The landslide on the eastern side of the road remains active, with earth visibly moving, she said.
