Open Bottle Bistro, a restaurant that will offer an expanded presentation of wine from France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, will open Tuesday at 5884 Ellsworth Ave., Shadyside, the former location of La Casa.

It's a new restaurant from Dave DeSimone, KQV radio host and wine writer for more than 20 years. He recently ran Bridge Ten Brassierie on the South Side, which opened in July 2012 and closed in February.

Former Bridge Ten chef, Jeremy Hickey, is the executive chef. The menu references Spain and France, with pinchos such as white anchovies or chorizo, patata bravas or tapenades. Steak and tuna tartare will also be featured, as well as roasted chicken Basquaise and mussels mariniere.

Open Bottle Bistro will be open Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner. Saturday hours are 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
