Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority expects to restore service this afternoon to 50 customers affected by a morning water main break in Penn Hills.

Vanessa Davis, administrative assistant to the utility's executive director, said the break at 354 Johnston Road is the third in that area in the past week.

Ms. Davis said she wasn't aware of any reports of flooded homes. Crews are on scene making repairs.

A second break on Lower Rodi Road in Wilkins is affecting a "large number of consumers" in Wilkins and Turtle Creek, according to a recorded message from the utility.
