CONCERTS

Greensburg -- The Division of Visual and Performing Arts at Seton Hill University will present the following performances at 7:30 p.m. in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall at Seton Hill's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. Information: 724-552-2900.

* Guitar ensemble, Tuesday.

Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Youth Symphony Orchestra Philharmonic will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall at Seton Hill University's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. The repertoire will comprise Offenbach's "Overture to Orpheus in the Underworld," Torelli's Sonata in D, Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite No. 1," Shore's "Lord of the Rings Suite" and Khatchaturian's "Sabre Dance" from "Gayne Ballet." Soloist on Sonata in D will be trumpeter Ted DiSanti. The WYSO String Ensemble will open. Information: 724-837-1850.

FUNDRAISING

Donegal Township -- The Christian Family & Children's Center will hold a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Champion Christian School's North campus, 1876 Kings' Highway. Information: 724-455-2122, ext. 104.

Hempfield -- Greensburg Central Catholic Concerned Families will sponsor a Myers Strong dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Giannelli's II, 4816 Lincoln Highway. The cost is $10, $6 for children 12 and younger. Information: 724-527-6799.

ON STAGE

Allegheny Township -- Kiski Area High School. 240 Hyde Park Road, will present "It's Almost Love in Almost, Maine" at 7 p.m. tonight through Saturday in the auditorium. Information: 724-845-8181, ext. 5140.

Greensburg -- The Theatre and Dance Program at Seton Hill University will present "Big Love" at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, next Thursday and Nov. 22 and 23 and 2 p.m. Sunday in the William Granger Ryan Theatre at Seton Hill's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. Information: 724-552-2929.

Hempfield -- The Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company will present "The Birth of Merlin, or The Child Has Found His Father" by William Shakespeare and William Rowley at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday to Nov. 23 and 2 p.m. Nov. 24 in the Ferguson Theater on the University of Pittsburgh's Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive. Tickets cost $10, $5 for students and seniors. Information: 724-836-7483.

A dinner and theater option is available for the Nov. 23 performance. Tickets are $25 and include dinner in Pitt-Greensburg's Hempfield Room and preferred seating for the show. Reservations: 724-366-9896.

RECREATION

Hempfield -- The Westmoreland County Historical Society's Historic Hanna's Town, 809 Forbes Trail Road, will hold a candlelight open house from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

In addition, the Historic Hanna's Town Shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays from Saturday to Dec. 14 except for Nov. 30.
