Greensburg -- The music department of Seton Hill University will hold these performances at 7:30 p.m. in the Carol Ann Reichgut Concert Hall in the university's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave. -- jazz ensemble, Sunday; percussion ensemble, Tuesday; and composition, Thursday.

FOR CHILDREN

Unity -- Westmoreland Museum of American Art will hold "Paint, Glorious Paint!," an art class for children ages 7-10, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at its temporary location, Westmoreland @rt 30, 4764 Lincoln Highway. Cost: $10. Registration required. Information: 724-837-1500, ext. 110.

FUNDRAISING

Monroeville -- Monroeville Public Library will hold a used-book sale and raffle from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The drawing for the raffle will be held Sunday. Information: 412-372-0500.

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

Oakmont -- Redeemer Lutheran School will hold its annual Veterans Day parade at 10 a.m. Monday beginning at its Oakmont campus, 1261 Pennsylvania Ave. A service will follow at 10:15 a.m. at the Oakmont-Verona Cemetery on Pennsylvania Avenue. Veterans and active duty military will be honored and are encouraged to wear their uniforms. Afterward, participants will go back to the church to fill Christmas stockings donated by Military Connections for those men and women serving overseas. Information: 412-793-5884.

LECTURES/SEMINARS

Hempfield -- The University of Pittsburgh will present "From IdiomA to Pussy Riot: Women Artists in Russia from Glasnost to Today" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Mary Lou Campana Chapel & Lecture Center on its Greensburg campus, 150 Finoli Drive. Presenter will be Kristen Harkness, lecturer in art history at West Virginia University and an instructor in art history at the University of Pittsburgh. Information: 724-836-7741.

Unity -- Westmoreland Museum of American Art will sponsor a Plane Space salon at 6 p.m. next Thursday at its temporary location, Westmoreland @rt 30, 4764 Lincoln Highway. Presenter will be artist and spatial researcher Wade Kramm. Information: 724-837-1500, ext. 110.

ON STAGE

Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust, in conjuncton with Mills Entertainment, will sponsor "Buddy Valastro: The Cake Boss -- The Family Celebrations Tour" at 7:30 p.m. next Thursday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Tickets cost $29.75 and $39.75 A limited number of VIP seats will be available at $95. Information: 724-836-8000.
