Allegheny County police homicide detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for a Penn Hills 17-year-old in connection with a double shooting Tuesday in Wilkinsburg.

Brian Hall is wanted on charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault in the Tuesday night shootings that injured two 19-year-old men, one critically. He is charged as an adult.

Lt. Andrew Schurman of county police homicide unit said Brian is registered as a Penn Hills High School student, with ties to Wilkinsburg, but did not come to school today.

The men, whose names police did not release, were shot about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Ambassador apartment building in the 1600 block of Penn Avenue, Lt. Schurman said in a press release.

He said the men weren't from Wilkinsburg and were most likely in the area to buy drugs.

The pair was taken to a hospital. One is listed in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds and the other is in a condition Lt. Schurman described as stable.

Police described Brian as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 135 pounds, with a distinctive tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.

Police ask anyone with information to call the county homicide unit at 412-473-1300.
