State police say a man who called to say he had shot his wife then killed himself while still on the line with emergency dispatchers.
Police in York County say they received a 911 call from 43-year-old Steven Himes just after 11 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators said he told dispatchers that he had just shot and killed his 39-year-old wife, Amanda, at their Chanceford Township home during a domestic dispute.
Police said he then went to the basement of the home "and shot himself while on the line with police dispatchers."neigh_east
