The owner of a north Philadelphia day care center had been indicted on charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child in the drowning death of a 7-year-old boy last summer.

Prosecutors said Monday that Tianna Edwards, 31, is also accused of reckless endangerment, welfare fraud, theft and other counts following the June 29 death of 7-year-old Isear Jeffcoat, who was found dead at the bottom of a murky pool he visited with a group from the center.
