AUDITIONS

Westmoreland County -- The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will accept recorded auditions through Monday from classical instrumentalists and vocalists up to grade 12 for its 2013 Young Artist Competition on Feb. 17 at Seton Hill University's Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave., Greensburg. CHURCH ACTIVITIES

North Versailles -- Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Road, will offer "Come As You Are at the Mount" worship services from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. every first and third Saturday of the month, beginning Saturday. Information: 412-823-4049.

CLASSES

ON STAGE

Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust will sponsor an appearance by mentalist The Amazing Kreskin at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Tickets: $22 and $30, 724-836-8000.

OPEN HOUSE

Wilkinsburg -- Pittsburgh Urban Christian School, 809 Center St., will hold an open house from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. next Thursday. Information: 412-244-1779.
