Four men were injured and one man was killed in the shooting, which happened at 1:19 a.m. today at the “Rendezvous Phase III” bar, 7323 Hamilton Ave., city police said in a press release.

Vincent Edward Holt Jr., 27, of Homewood was pronounced dead at the bar.

A 24-year-old from Penn Hills was shot in the hip; a 27-year-old from Swissvale was shot in the leg; and a 25-year-old from Wilkinsburg was shot in the foot. They were conscious and alert when police arrived and were transported to UPMC Presbyterian.

A 22-year-old from Penn Hills, who was shot in the arm, walked into West Penn Hospital, but was transferred to Allegheny General for treatment.

Police did not release the four injured men’s names, and said no witnesses were initially identified. Four security personnel left before police arrived and have not been identified, police said.
