Suspect arrested in Downtown Pittsburgh bank robbery

Pittsburgh police announced today that they have arrested a North Side man in connection with the robbery of a Downtown Citizens Bank last week.

Daniel Brice, 62, was arrested by Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies in the 5600 block of Penn Avenue in East Liberty, according to a news release from police spokeswoman Diane Richard.

Mr. Brice is awaiting arraignment on robbery charges.

Police said he walked into the Citizens Bank, passed a teller a note demanding money and made reference to a gun. They said Mr. Brice left after a bank employee gave him some money.
