A woman died and at least five or six others were injured today in a blaze at an apartment complex in Ambridge, Beaver County, an emergency dispatcher said.

The fire broke out at about 4:20 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Apartments in the 200 block of First Avenue, displacing about 20 residents.

County Coroner Terri Tatalovich-Rossi said the woman, believed to be in her 50s, will be identified after an autopsy to be performed Monday.
