Pittsburgh police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man who was found on a Perry South street on Saturday.
The incident was reported about 7:50 p.m. on the 600 block of Chautauqua Street. When police arrived, they found a 52-year-old victim in the middle of the street with at least one gunshot wound, public safety spokeswoman Emily Schaffer said.
The man was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in critical condition, but died at 8:28 p.m., said Ms. Schaffer.
The investigating is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact them.
