A 20-year-old Knoxville man faces drug and robbery charges in connection with a Saturday evening incident in Knoxville.

A spokesman for the Pittsburgh police issued a news release Sunday morning indicating that a 21-year-old woman who lives in Knoxville was approached by two black males at about 7:08 p.m. near the intersection of Suncrest Street and Brownsville Road.

Police said one of the men took the woman's cell phone from her pocket, then both men fled on foot. Police are not searching for the other man, as evidence shows only the suspect allegedly robbed the woman.

Aaron James Hicks, 20, of Knoxville was arrested and placed in the Allegheny County Jail. He is charged with street robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had a marijuana pipe, five empty stamp bags of heroin and three stamp bags of heroin.
