Norton Street on Mount Washington will only be open to local traffic starting Wednesday morning as the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority repairs a 15-inch sewer, it said in a press release.

A contractor will work in the 500 block from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily until work is completed, which is expected to be by Aug. 15.

Water service shouldn't be interrupted, the authority said.
