Fort Duquesne Boulevard will be closed between Sixth and Seventh streets, Downtown, today for a roof construction project at a hotel there.

A permit for the project extends through Aug. 7, but that section of road is not likely to be affected the entire time, according to Pittsburgh's public works department.

It was not immediately clear how many days the boulevard will be closed in that area.
