A 42-year-old woman was injured after her sport utility vehicle flipped over a barrier at the Hazlett Street on-ramp on Interstate 279.
The woman didn't negotiate the bend properly as she was exiting the highway, public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said, and hit a bump that sent her SUV airborne and over the barrier.
Medics said her injuries include possible bruising of the ribs and a concussion. The woman was admitted into Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.
