The University of Pittsburgh has one more Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship winner, junior Alexandre Gauthier of Charlotte, N.C., for his undergraduate research in condensed matter physics.

When the Goldwater winners were announced in March, Mr. Gauthier received an honorable mention. He now has been upgraded to a winner.

Previously, one other winner at the University of Pittsburgh and three at Duquesne University were named Goldwater winners.
