Three men arrested after Pittsburgh police said they broke into a Lawrenceville building where officers found one of the largest marijuana grow operations they've seen in years waived their preliminary hearings today.

Shaun Hollis, 30, Fredrick Jeffcoat, 34, and Michael Snee, 31, all of McKeesport, have been ordered to stand trial in connection with the May 29 break-in at the intersection of Davison Street and Urbana Way.

Pittsburgh police said they found Mr. Snee and Mr. Hollis, who was carrying a pistol, outside the building with marijuana leaves stuck to their clothing and Mr. Jeffcoat sitting in a car with a pit bull a block away.

The men have not been charged with growing the marijuana. Exactly who grew it remains unclear.
