Man in hospital after shooting in North Homewood

A 31-year old man is in the hospital after being shot at about 2 p.m. today in North Homewood.

Public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said that the man was alone in his car at the intersection of Brushton and Mohler streets when he was shot in the back.

Police found approximately 30 bullet casings in the street, Ms. Toler said.

The man is in serious but stable condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
