The Squirrel Hill Urban Coalition and city Councilman Corey O’Connor will hold a public meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Children’s Institute to discuss plans for redevelopment of the former Poli restaurant on Forward Avenue.

The Children’s Institute is at 1405 Shady Ave. Drivers are asked to park in the Northumberland Street parking lot.

In a joint venture, Jewish Residential Services and Action Housing propose a new low-rise building containing 40 apartments, with support services for vulnerable residents in about half of them; first-floor offices; and a new home for the Howard Levin Clubhouse, a non-residential center operated by Jewish Residential Services.
