SWAT situation resolved in Mount Oliver

A early morning SWAT situation at Jacobs Street near Walter Avenue in Mount Oliver has been resolved.

The SWAT team arrived on the scene around 4:30 a.m. Mount Oliver police chief Matt Juzwick said a 27-year-old man was acting in dangerous manner, and was yielding a hammer, screwdriver and scissors.

A family member called police.

The man was uninjured and was taken to local hospital.

Mount Oliver police had set up a roadblock in the neighborhood for several hours.
