Pittsburgh police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred this morning.

The first, at a First National Bank on Noblestown Road in Westwood, occurred about 10:50 a.m. A man wearing dark clothing and a ski mask and carrying a lime green umbrella walked into the bank with a gun, city public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said in an email.

The man took money from multiple tellers and left with cash. No one was injured, she said.

The second occurred at the Sultan Bey Global Market & General Store at the corner of Craig Street and Centre Avenue in Oakland at 11:32 a.m. Ms. Toler said a man with a gun walked into the store, struggled with the owner and "escaped with cash." She said no one was injured in the scuffle.
