LeMont restaurant reopens following Mount Washington landslide

LeMont restaurant reopened today following a landslide Tuesday on Mount Washington, an employee there confirmed.

The city's Bureau of Building Inspection lifted the evacuation order for the restaurant, Pittsburgh public safety officials said this afternoon.

A swath the size of a football field tore loose from the face of Mount Washington early Tuesday morning, and mud and trees blocked railroad tracks along West Carson Street. The Duquesne Incline also briefly closed.
