Pittsburgh City Council approves public information bill

A bill aimed at making reams of information about everything from potholes to crime available to the public was unanimously passed by Pittsburgh City Council.

The bill, sponsored by Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak, will make the data available on a yet-to-be-developed city website for the public and for the tech community who could used the data to develop apps.
