Visitation set today for rock band bassist Tommy Osh

A funeral will be held Wednesday for Thomas O'Shanick, former bassist for several Pittsburgh rock bands who was killed in a traffic accident Thursday.

Mr. O'Shanick, 47, of Oakland played under the name of Tommy Osh. He is survived by his mother, Patti; a daughter, Phoenix; a sister, Gabrielle Devine; and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at John N. Elachko Funeral Home, 3447 Dawson St. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Regis Catholic Church, Oakland.

Mr. O'Shanick's name was misspelled in an obituary in Friday's paper.
