The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is looking into reports of low water pressure and interruption of water service for customers in the city's West End and Ridgemont area.

Water authority crews found and repaired a leak Saturday evening along Springfield Street in Ridgemont, but more reports of low water came in Sunday morning. A second leak is being investigated in the area of Wabash Street and McCartney Street in the West End. A water buffalo has been placed on the top of Springfield Street to provide water for residents.

Work crews were expected on the site early Monday morning.

Residents may call the PWSA emergency dispatch at 412-255-2423 to report additional problems.
