Bad weather has forced postponement of a scheduled traffic restriction at the Corliss Tunnel.

Access from southbound West Carson Street to the tunnel was to be blocked at 8 a.m. The closure has been pushed back to 8 a.m. Wednesday, PennDOT announced. The restriction will continue around the clock through mid-February.

The posted detour is to continue south on West Carson to a right at Steuben Street and a right at Chartiers Avenue.

Inbound Corliss Tunnel traffic will continue to be able to turn right at West Carson.
