Four men were arraigned today, three on charges that include illegal possession of a firearm, after police stopped them in Carrick for traffic violations and found three guns inside the car -- two of them stolen.

The men facing weapons charges were identified by police as Vernon Thompson, 22, and Osha Thompson, 21, both of Homewood, and Deshawn Davis, 20, whose place of residence could not be verified.

They were passengers in a car driven by Lamont Ford, 21, of Crafton, who did not have a license and failed to fully stop at two stop signs, police said. The vehicle was pulled over in the 1700 block of Saw Mill Run Blvd.

Each was arraigned on $250,000 straight bond. Each faces a Jan. 7 hearing.
