While working as office manager of Three Rivers Volkswagen, Deborah Cassini shifted dealership funds to cover her personal credit card balances and her BMW payments, according to an indictment unsealed Friday. She also made unauthorized additions to her compensation from the McMurray dealership, federal prosecutors alleged.
Ms. Cassini, 61, of Peters faces charges of wire fraud and filing false income tax returns. According to the indictment, she reported to the IRS incomes of $23,000 to $39,000 when she actually received much more.
She was arraigned and pleaded not guilty Friday. Her attorney, Douglas Sughrue, could not be reached for comment.
