Three-alarm fire rages in Squirrel Hill

Firefighters are battling a three-alarm blaze in a Squirrel Hill home this afternoon.

The house at 5512 Beacon St. was empty when the fire was reported around 3:15 p.m, an Allegheny County emergency dispatch supervisor said.

No injuries have been reported.Traffic, though down to one lane, is being allowed through Beacon Street, the supervisor said.
