City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, state and federal offices and courts are closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

Traditional banks are closed, with some inside grocery stores open. State liquor stores are open. Post offices are closed, with no pickup or delivery of regular mail. Garbage is being picked up normally.

The Port Authority of Allegheny County is running regular bus, T and incline service; however, the Downtown Service Center is closed. Several Downtown routes are being detoured due to the Veterans Day parade, which is stepping off at 10:30 a.m. at Grant Street and Liberty Avenue, proceeding down Liberty to Stanwix and the Boulevard of the Allies to a reviewing stand in front of the Steelworkers building.
