Tractor-trailer overturns Downtown Pittsburgh

A tractor trailer carrying steel coils overturned tonight Downtown.

The truck was headed on Fort Pitt Boulevard outbound, when it overturned around 9:39 p.m. near the Fort Duquesne Bridge ramp, an Allegheny County Emergency dispatch supervisor said.

Fort Pitt Boulevard outbound is closed, and state police say it could be a while before the truck is righted and the road, reopened.

The driver is being treated for minor injuries, the supervisor said.
