Man dies in plunge from Downtown Pittsburgh parking garage

Pittsburgh police homicide detectives continued to investigate this morning the Tuesday afternoon death of a 22-year-old man who either jumped or fell from a Downtown parking garage.

Benjamin Tokich, who lived Downtown, died at UPMC Mercy about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Pittsburgh police major crimes unit Lt. Kevin Kraus said Tuesday that Mr. Tokich either jumped or fell from the parking garage on Ninth Street, near Blush strip club, about 8 p.m. Monday.
