Pittsburgh police are searching for a woman they say participated in a street beating of a 15-year-old girl earlier this month in Elliot.

Two girls began beating the girl with locks attached to chain or rope around 4 p.m. Oct. 10 on Lorenz Avenue, city police spokeswoman Diane Richard said.

Detectives obtained video footage of the fight, in which the 15-year-old is seen on the ground when a black woman begins kicking the girl in the head and back.

The woman wore a white blouse, black pants and brown boots in the video. To identify her, call Zone 6 detectives at 412-937-3095.
