Firefighters injured in Brighton Heights blaze

Three firefighters were injured while battling a blaze at a house on Termon Avenue in Brighton Heights Friday.

The fire broke out shortly after 3 p.m. in the 1400 block of Termon and was under control an hour later, emergency dispatchers said.

The injured firefighters required medical treatment for minor injuries.

The Red Cross said it provided housing, food, clothing and Christmas gifts for the two adults and a child who were displaced by the fire.
