A Homewood man today was held for trial in the shooting death of an innocent 16-year-old boy in what a prosecutor called a "juvenile" neighborhood dispute in Garfield.

Brandon Sewell, 21, will face trial in the killing Oct. 14 of Ne'Ondre Harbour at a house at 408 N. Aiken Ave.

Ne'Ondre's 18-year-cousin testified at a preliminary hearing that Mr. Sewell, dressed all in black, sprayed the porch with a revolver, striking Ne'Ondre in the chest.

The witness, who the district attorney's office requested not be named, said the shooting was the result of an ongoing neighborhood feud between her and Mr. Sewell that escalated that day.

"Our witness was probably the intended target," Deputy District Attorney Mark Tranquilli said. "These are neighbors who don't like each other."
