Columbus Day Parade tomorrow in Bloomfield

The 25th annual Pittsburgh Columbus Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Bloomfield. East Liberty businessman Al Vento Sr. will lead the parade from Liberty Avenue at Baum Boulevard to the Bloomfield Bridge. Parade participants include the Pittsburgh Fire Bagpipe Band, Kennywood Park floats, Pittsburgh Letter Carriers Marching Band and several more.

Sections of Liberty Avenue will be closed beginning at 9:30 a.m. The street will be completely closed from Baum to the Bloomfield Bridge at 10:45 a.m. The bridge will remain open.
