People interested in becoming dealers at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh will get their first chance to make an impression next week.
The casino will be hosting job fairs Monday and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sheraton at Station Square to interview candidates who are interested in applying for dealers school. No previous table games experience is required to become a dealer. Those who attend the table games school will be trained and must complete an audition to be considered for hiring.
Officials are urging those who want to attend one of the job fairs to apply online first at www.riverscasinoteam.com and take an updated resume with them Monday or Tuesday. Those interested should set aside a few hours for the job fair and associated interviews, officials said. People invited to the dealers school will not be paid while they are trained.
The two days will focus specifically on dealer positions. Those interested in becoming table game supervisors or managers should apply at the casino's website. They will be contacted by the casino if they meet the qualifications.
